Get Better Quality Sleep
Most people understand that getting adequate sleep is important. They may not understand why it is important, but they do understand that they need it. Sleep allows your body to produce more growth hormone, and lack of sleep can cause a whole plethora of issues. Here’s some great tips to improve your quality of sleep:
- Shut off the lights- Light sends a message to your brain that you need to be awake. Turning off your lights 30 mins before bed, allows adequate time for your body to adjust and get better quality REM sleep.
- ZMA- Both of these supplements are great adds to improve sleep quality. It helps your body naturally produce melatonin, which is what helps your body rest or relax.
- Meditation- Clearing your mind of all the clutter from the day is helpful in reducing anxiety and allowing you to get into easier and stay asleep longer. Keep a notebook by your bed and write down all the things you need to do the next day/days in order so you can relax and recover.
